Pearl of the Quarter is an original and distinctive food truck serving exceptional food inspired by the flavours of places once visited, never forgotten; The Caribbean, New Orleans, Brazil, Cuba, the Southern States of the USA and reaching into all the great quarters of the world.

THE FOOD
With a passion for music and food that is born from the meeting of different cultures coming together to create its own distinct flavour, Pearl of the Quarter is a celebration of diversity and harmony, bringing something very special to the markets, parties, festivals, weddings and private functions they appear at. Sourcing only the best free range and organic quality meat, eggs and dairy and only the very freshest produce, with a wide range of vegan and gluten free options, Pearl of the Quarter pours love into every dish.

THE CHEF
With over 20 years experience catering in both the UK and Australia, chef Lorne is famed for his exquisite use of flavours, spectacular presentation of food and his versatility of working in many varied circumstances. He was the preferred chef for the Mayor of Brighton UK, cooked for numerous bands including the Buena Vista Social Club, Nick Cave and the White Stripes, created banquets for weddings held everywhere from stately homes to pop up kitchens in paddocks. And then, in 2016, Lorne combined all his experience and a desire to bring world food to the public in a way that they may not have experienced before and Pearl of the Quarter was born!
